Invitation to Create a Lings Coppice Neighbourhood Watch Group

I note that Lings Coppice has ten participants signed up to the Neighbourhood Alert system via Neighbourhood watch and/or Met Engage. but no NHW group.

One of the quirks of the on-line systems is that residents do not receive local alerts unless they are assigned to a group. 

Also they do not receive full benefits unless they have a co-ordinator and deputy to handle communications with the local police team (e.g. collating videos of parcel thieves from doorbell footage and/or intelligence from local whatsapp groups to e-mail to the police team).  

I have therefore taken the liberty of creating a group for Lings Coppice so that you can be addressed collectively. The next step is to ask whether one of you will like to volunteer as a co-ordinator to handle liaison with the local police team   

If you would like to discuss with them or me, they plan to at Cafe Salve on the Rosendale Parade at 1.00 pm on 3rd September and at the Norwood Feast on 7th September. I plan to join them..
